As in any competition there were disappointments this morning, but the overall results were good for Sycamore.  Several of the swims were best times for the year which should put the swimmers in a good mental focus for tomorrow.

 

Alex Norris had her best time in both the 100 Fly and 200 IM.  Her prelim time was 57.29 in the fly, seeding her 5th in finals.  Alex has been dropping her times consistently this month, and she is seeded first in the IM after dropping more time and swimming a 2:04.41.

 

The boys qualified two of their relays , both with best times.  The 200 Free relay of Steven Winkler, Ben Keefe, Manuel Gutierrez and Chris Culin swam a 1:28.51 and is seeded 12th, while the 400 Free time was 3:15.48, seeded 11th, swum by Thomas Norris, Steven, Ben and Manuel.  Manuel and Thomas both will swim individual events tomorrow.  Both were just off their best times today, but are in good shape to improve for tomorrow.  Manuel is seeded 7th in the 200 IM with a 1:57.20, and Thomas will start from the 10th position in his 500 Free with a 4:45.05.
