The Cerda family has released an article sighting the accomplishments of the Jose Cerda Aquatic Foundation since it was formed almost a year ago. There were three major programs held that were supported by the Foundation. The article highlights these programs.
The Cerda family started the Foundation in memory of their son, Jose, who passed away suddenly October 26, 2010, his 18th birthday. Jose was a member of the Sycamore High School Swim and Water Polo teams. He also swam for the Sycamore Flying Fish. He had joined the Cincinnati Marlins his for Senior year.
